The Holdrege, NE plant runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, producing 2.3 billion medical devices annually. We employ approximately 450 people across all operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment and perform tasks such as product inspection, raw material and finished goods movement, cleaning, and sanitizing.
- Monitor machine functions to detect and address any issues.
- Ensure compliance with embecta quality systems, policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Conduct inspections and perform process tests.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification on assigned equipment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Able to maintain a productive work environment through effective communication with team members.
- Have regular, punctual attendance.
- You are self-motivated with good planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Display strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
