The City of Holdrege is accepting applications for the position of Mechanic / General Maintenance Worker. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Desired qualifications include training or experience in working on and operating heavy equipment, as well as a general knowledge of vehicle repair and general facilities maintenance. Applicants should enjoy working on a variety of job assignments indoors and outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions. A principled character and an aptitude for maintaining productive working relationships with co-workers are essential.
This position includes a 40-hour workweek and an hourly wage range of $20.38 to $27.09, depending on experience and qualifications, with the possibility of overtime on nights, weekends, and during snow removal.
