Senior Accountant/CPA- Immediate Opportunity
Job Overview
We are seeking an effective, responsible, and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years in
public accounting; who is skilled at delivering high level tax planning, consulting and preparation
services, compiled and reviewed financial statement preparation, and other related accounting
services. Immediate openings in all office locations; Beloit KS, Clay Center KS, Salina, KS, Holdrege, NE.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and perform review and tax preparation of Federal and State income tax returns
• Tax planning and projections
• Tax research, resolution and correspondence
• Financial statement preparation
• Manage client information requests and deliverables
• Assist staff with technical questions and development
• Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
• Ensure quality standards are maintained
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting
• Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent Required
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Strong computer skills; Quickbooks, CCH Axcess and Thomson Reuters software experience a plus
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Superior attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical and planning skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team in various levels
