A MANAGER With A Heart?
Have you ever led a team, and led them by example?
I’m looking for the best kind of Sales Manager: one who can organize and lead aggressively, but with the HEART to INSPIRE the very best in the most humble and hard-working furniture team ever assembled!
I’m Michael Bruce, owner of Bruce Furniture, and we’ve grown so big, right now I’m looking for someone with the unique ability to organize the sales team effort, manage day-to-day issues that arise and lead our Holdrege location.
The reason I have a great team of people is because I know something that many company owners and managers don’t:
Only happy employees can MAKE happy customers!
This is why my employees always come first, customers come second. And this is true regardless of the position. We cultivate a happy environment here by empowering you with great pay, mutual support, and enough free time to spend with your family.
Maybe you’ve served in the military. Maybe you have experience in sales, or leadership. Any service industry leadership experience would be a big plus.
But are you the kind of person others look to for advice?
Do you like to do things the right way, the first time?
Do you always do what’s RIGHT?
If so, then here’s what I’m offering, to start:
· $48K-68K thru salary plus bonus commissions (with increases as you prove and improve your skills)
· Health Insurance stipend and 401K Match
· Paid vacation
REQUIREMENTS:
· You’re an amazing leader
· You can set the selling and serving example by doing
· You love people
· You work well with others.
· You appreciate Vince Lombardi
· You are also a details person.
For instance, if you don’t read this posting thoroughly (hint hint), we will never see your resume.
I want someone who is interested in perfecting our sales systems and procedures, and keeping the whole sales team accountable to deliver on our promises, while making them AND our customers feel respected and important. The better you do at organizing and inspiring, the smoother this ship will sail!
So, how good are you? Convince me! Tell me about yourself. Tell me a story about what you’ve done and how long you did it, what you like best and what you like least. Because if you’re the one I’m looking for, then you’re pretty awesome, which is why you likely already have a job. But THIS job is way better!
EDUCATION:
You don’t need to be able to do calculus and speak French, but morons, whiners, goobers, lazy people and drama queens need not apply.
ATTITUDE:
You can’t teach the right attitude. You’ve either got it, or you don’t. Bruce Furniture is a fun place to work and the people here love LIFE. Are you one of us?
FOCUS:
We value thoroughness and the ability to focus, so we’re putting a special word in this paragraph to weed out sloppy people, half-hearted people, inattentive people and people without a sense of humor. Anyone skimming through job descriptions and blindly blasting out resumes won’t see this line. But you’re actually reading this job description, aren’t you? Nicely done. Put the word, “#HAPPYLEADER” in the subject line of your reply, and we’ll give your resume the same respect you’ve given this job description. We’ll actually read it! Any application that does not have #HAPPYLEADER in the subject line, will be printed out, wadded into a ball, and tossed into the trash via sky hook, nothing but net.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Must maintain good relationships with the small sales team & clients
· cannot be insensitive but also cannot be a pushover
· No addicts, abusers or excuse-makers. But that’s not you, right?
JOINING THE TEAM:
Most of the people who work here have been here for several years. This is not a place with a lot of turn-over. That should tell you something. This is a truly amazing job for the right person.
Is that person you?
Do you want to work for people who trust you?
If this is you? I want you to email me, Michael, here at Bruce Furniture.
A fabulous new career opportunity could be just a conversation away!
I look forward to meeting you.
-Michael Bruce
