All ages are invited to join at a 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 for our Raptorolgy program this year at the Phelps Co. Ag Center in the Exhibit Hall! The library will be closing early for this off-site program. Thank you to the Holdrege Area Friends of the Library for helping to sponsor this event and thank you the Ag Society for allowing us to use this space.
The Edgerton Explorit Center has partnered with Fontenelle Forest to present this program on live Raptors. These birds are education ambassadors who have been injured and are non-releasable. Presenter, Deb Miller will have a Swainson’s Hawk named Roy, an American Kestrel named Ted, an Eastern Screech Owl named Doc, and a new addition Aquila who is a bald eagle with her at this program for all ages.
