Crosswalk Mural Painting (Community Art Project)

Be part of something bold, bright, and uniquely Holdrege! The Iron Horse Arts District is inviting volunteers to help paint two brand-new crosswalk murals downtown (at 5th and West Avenues) and touch up the existing murals (at 5th and East Avenues). We'd love to have you join us!

No painting experience? No problem. Whether you’re ready to paint a full bloom or just one petal, we’ve got a spot for you. In fact, we’re calling our helpers Petal Pushers—because even painting a single flower petal makes a big impact!

We’ll provide all the materials, stenciled guides, and support from a lead artist—you just bring your enthusiasm and love for community beautification.

By pitching in, you’ll help transform everyday crosswalks into colorful works of public art that make Holdrege shine.
