Call for Artwork: Autumn Colors & Light (entry period closes)

The Iron Horse Arts District is now accepting submissions for our November Pop-Up Art Gallery, with the theme “Autumn Colors & Light.”

We invite artists of all backgrounds and mediums to submit works that capture the beauty, warmth, and shifting atmosphere of the season. Think golden leaves, long evening shadows, cozy moments, and the way light transforms our landscape in the fall. This is a chance to showcase your interpretation of autumn through your unique artistic lens.

Submission Deadline: Friday, October 17, 2025 at 9:00pm

Details:

• Open to artists of all skill levels and mediums (painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, digital, etc.).

• Works should reflect or be inspired by the theme Autumn Colors & Light.

• Selected pieces will be displayed in the November Pop-Up Art Gallery at the Holdrege Area Public Library.

• Artists will be notified of acceptance following the submission deadline.

To submit your work:

• Fill out the online form here with information about up to three (3) pieces of your work.

• Then, send an email with high-quality images (JPG or PNG) of up to three (3) pieces of your work to info@ironhorsedistrict.org.

  • Be sure to label the images with your last name and the name of the piece so we can match them up to the form. (Example: Smith-AutumnLeaves.png)
