SUMMARY:Phelps County NITE L.I.F.E.
DESCRIPTION:Banisters Leadership Academy is a statewide non-profit\, and our mission is to strengthen youth & families through leadership. We do that by offering multiple different programs that empower youth & young adults with learning leadership\, life\, social and job readiness skills in a fun environment. Programs that are currently running locally in Holdrege are Night L.I.F.E. and Healthy Communities Movement Night L.I.F.E. (Leadership in fun environments)\, serves grades K-8th. We meet at the YMCA twice a month\, for 4 hours\, and mentees learn the 12 pillars of leadership through fun & engaging activities. Mentees are also fed a hot meal during this program. We have an evidence-based curriculum through our C.H.E.S.S. Capital Framework and collect data and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of our program.
